IN LOVING MEMORY
We put together the Bill Donovan Memorial Golf Classic to honor our dear father and friend. Despite a courageous 20 month battle. Bill lost his life to Esophageal Cancer on March 3, 2012. When Bill first met with his oncologist, Dr. Peter Enzinger at the Dana-Farber, he discovered that there was very little funding for Esophageal Stomach Cancers. He promised Dr. Enzinger that he would change that.
Unfortunately, before Bill could make good on his promise he passed away. We would like to fulfill his promise to Dr. Enzinger by organizing a golf tournament in his memory. One hundred percent (100%) of all the proceeds will go DIRECTLY to the Dr.Enzinger Esophageal/Stomach Research Fund. Bill loved to golf and he loved getting together with family and friends.
This golf tournament is the perfect way to honor him. It is our hope that we can count on your commitment to help us succeed in our mission.
